I just finished another trip to South Africa and had a wonderful time. Africa is an amazing place, and South Africa is really spectacular to me. I envision that I will be going there at least once a year for the rest of my life. People often ask me why I fly 18 hours one way to Africa.

I saw that CNBC's Dylan Ratigan suggested that public/private cooperation on the banking bailout should include Hope bonds so that the average person can profit as well. I had not thought of Hope bonds from this perspective, but it makes a tremendous amount of sense.

What Happens When We Listen
The awesome nature of God was made evident in our worship service this past Sunday. The aftershocks of the service still linger in my heart and spirit. God gave us thirty-three new servants. What an awesome start to the year.
